It was the mid-1980s, an era where whiskey sour fountains were the height of indulgence, and the air at weddings hung heavy with the mingled scents of freshly curled hair and perfumed ambition.

I found myself gravitating towards the world of welding. The process of shaping and combining metal captured my imagination and allowed me to express my creativity in ways I hadn’t anticipated. A year in Central Africa led me to blend in native design and emotion to my metal fabrication

As he swam, he felt a profound sense of liberation wash over him. Life seemed to melt away, replaced by a primal instinct to connect with the natural world around him. Noah moved through the water with a grace and fluidity he had never known, each stroke a testament to his new found freedom.

In 1992, as the Bosnian Civil War erupted, I found myself traveling through Eastern Europe, only to become trapped in the besieged city of Sarajevo.
